Weekend Recap

Boys corner!

We have been having amazing weather here in SF and I have been soaking up every bit of sun shine that I can get. Saturday was one of those perfect days where you wake up to blue skies and feel like you can do anything! We spent the day in Sonoma celebrating Heather’s birthday! We had great food, amazing company, and more laughs than I thought possible. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

Weekend Snap Shots

Baby and her twin Bubbles

I had such a nice weekend! As you can see, baby meet her twin! Okay, not really but I can pretend can’t I? We spend the day Saturday at Tamales Bay chucking oysters and enjoying the beautiful weather. I finally made it to the Farmers market and I am looking forward to cooking and eating healthy this week, minus the grilled cheese making class we are going to on Tuesday. I hope everyone had a nice weekend! xo

A cute corner in our office that we recently made over, hello inspiration!

Bridal Shower

Each guest was given a notecard to share advice and well wishes for the couple

This past weekend was my soon to be sisters in-laws bridal shower. We had such a great time. Both of our families helped make this day so special. I was really excited to see it come together so well. My sister and I were in charge of decorations and staying true to the brides vision of vintage garden we collected vintage frames, unique stationary and hand crafted signs to make the bridal shower feel unique and beautiful. I am so excited for my big brother and his wife to be!

The tree was a great center piece and also held our party favors. Each guest got to take home a miniature heart bird feeder which had a thank you note and date of the wedding on it.

Teal, yellow and white was the color theme!

cake pops, flowers and a beautiful engagement photo were set on the entry way table of the venue

Pattern Party

This weeks office challenge was pattern mixing. I was so exciting to mix and match something crazy and fun. It turned out to be a lot easier than we all thought. The key to making this trend work is to have a base color that runs in both prints (black in both my skirt and top). Also, have fun with it. Try pairing the most unlikely combo, it might just work.Happy mixing and matching!

Party Planner

In a few weeks I will be attending my brothers fiancé bridal shower! I am super excited. My sister and I have the pleasure of being in charge of decorations. I’ve been book marking magazines and websites for the past few months trying to get cute ideas and I wanted to share a few with you. Let me just tell you, there are SO many amazing ideas out there I could plan bridal parties for days (new career?!). Two glasses of wine and 3 hours later I’ve got a great idea of what we want to do! Stay tuned for post bridal shower pics!

The Skirt Before The Rain

Skirt: Urban, Shirt: BR (recent), Coat: Anthropologie, Shoes: Vince Camuto, Bag: Alexander Wang, Necklace: F21

The weather forecast says rain for the next week! Crazy right! Since I own so many skirts and dresses I find it hard to dress for the rain. Not to mention most of my shoes are 5′ and NOT slip proof ( case if point when I slipped off the SF Muni last winter in my Jeffery Campbell clogs). I had to take advantage of our last sunny day by wearing a girly, light skirt. How do you stay cute and dry?! Tips please.
