Happy Tuesday all! This week is beautiful in SF and I am looking forward to lunches outside and warm night runs and of course the chance to wear my summer skirts! This simple yet bright outfit was an easy choice for some meetings I had yesterday. I am still loving the jean shirt trend, but I am ready to see it styled in different ways. I am a fan of jean on jean as well as jean on white. Try tying your shirt in a little knot for a twist on this simple trend!

Pleats and Leopard

As I was leaving the office today I had a good laugh..I looked down to see leopard shoes, a leopard bag ( filled with a leopard phone case and make up bag), leopard scarf and a leopard lunch box! While I did not capture this look for the blog, believe me it was a sight to see. Hey, nothing like ending the day with a good laugh and a great pair of leopard heels!

One Skirt. Three Ways

A few weeks ago I bought this cute purple pencil skirt from JCrew (on major sale). It has

quickly become a go to piece in my wardrobe. Not only is the color perfect, but it is the perfect silhouette for multiple looks. I am really trying to cut back on shopping so I am  trying to wear one thing multiple ways. Which look is your fav?

Preppy Chic: nothing says pretty like a pair of classes and bow flats. Pair your favorite sweater with a pencil skirt and grab your tech case to double as a purse.

Weekend Run Around: pencil skirts can also be casual. Throw on an over sided tee, fun jewerly, and some killer wedges and you are set to run around town

Business Casual: the pencil skirt was made for work, but I prefer to give it an edge. Peplum tops are the perfect shape to pair on top of the skirt. Keep it professional with closed toed shoes and an over sized bag.

Hint of Mint

If I could wear a skirt every day I would! The only thing stopping me (sometimes)is the cold SF weather. I decided to pair this bright summer skirt with a hint of mind. I’ve been totally loving the color this summer. I put on this outfit this morning and instantly felt fresh, bright and ready to take on the day…the 5 in heels also helped! PS don’t mind the squinty eyes, I left my glasses in the house this morning!

Hello…Again

I am back! I apologize for the time away, but sometimes it is needed. I have truly missed sharing my inspiration and weekly adventures with all of you. Thank you for your sweet comments and patience. I am excited to be back. I have had quite an amazing summer so far..my brother got married, my ‘baby’ sis got engaged, Kyle graduated from USF grad school, I traveled to Mexico and Colorado, and I scored some great summer outfits! I hope you enjoy my picture recap!

Weekend Recap

Boys corner!

We have been having amazing weather here in SF and I have been soaking up every bit of sun shine that I can get. Saturday was one of those perfect days where you wake up to blue skies and feel like you can do anything! We spent the day in Sonoma celebrating Heather’s birthday! We had great food, amazing company, and more laughs than I thought possible. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend!

Weekend Snap Shots

I had such a nice weekend! As you can see, baby meet her twin! Okay, not really but I can pretend can’t I? We spend the day Saturday at Tamales Bay chucking oysters and enjoying the beautiful weather. I finally made it to the Farmers market and I am looking forward to cooking and eating healthy this week, minus the grilled cheese making class we are going to on Tuesday.
